Recipes and Cooking Shows. Practical English!

Ms Cathy

Do you want to improve your language skills, but find it difficult to find the time?

I have a suggestion. Try reading recipes! Beginners can start with cookbooks for children and intermediate or advanced students can listen to a podcast, watch a tv show or read a recipe book.

This is the best kind of multi-tasking! You can be making a meal for your family or friends, and learning a language at the same time.

As you read through recipes or listen to advice, if you come across words or phrases that you do not understand, you can ask me about them in class. Food idioms are fun, too!

If you love talking about (and eating) food as much as I do, then book a lesson!
