Why did I decide to be a teacher? When did I decide?

Initially, tutoring was a hobby. Gradually, I started to replace my other activities with tutoring. Actually, I think my other jobs before being a teacher, make me a better tutor!

For example, I have used Business English in real life environments whilst I was a chartered accountant. For example, I know the business idioms, phrasal verbs, and phrases for meetings that people actually use. I have lived and worked abroad, so I know how that feels. I love discussing and comparing different cultures and traditions. Hobbies like food, reading, cooking, walking, theatre, running, and movies mean that my vocabulary in these topic areas is rich and varied.

I get satisfaction from seeing students (of all levels from beginners to advanced) enjoy the discovery process. It is good to see the measurable success of test -prep students. No one can argue with a significntly improved test score!

Business English is constantly evolving and changing. It is great to have discussions about Business topics with my Business English customers.
