Not knowing is normal. The upgrade is sounding calm.

Better options:

  • Good question. Let me think for a second.
  • I’m not sure yet, but my guess is…
  • I don’t have the exact answer, but…
  • It depends on (X).

Mini practice (20 seconds):
Reply using one staller:

  1. “What’s the best way to learn English?”
  2. “Will the project succeed?”
It’s much easier to make this natural when you practice it in real conversation. If you’d like, we can work on it together in a 25-minute lesson (supportive corrections, no pressure).
