Daily English Upgrade #005: Better Questions — “What’s your take on…?”

Mohamed Helmy

Want smoother conversations? Ask better questions.

Instead of: “Do you like it?”
Try:

  • What’s your take on it? (opinion)
  • How do you feel about it? (feeling)
  • What do you think the best option is? (decision)
  • What makes you say that? (deeper follow-up)

Mini practice (20 seconds):
Write 1 question using “What’s your take on…?” about:

  1. remote work / hybrid work
  2. learning English daily

It’s much easier to make this natural when you practice it in real conversation. If you’d like, we can work on it together in a 25-minute lesson (supportive corrections, no pressure).
