Use Emotions When Describing Pictures for Cambridge, TOEIC, and other tests.

Ms Cathy

What can you see in the foreground of this picture? What can you see in the background ?

How does it make you feel when you look at it? If you were actually there in the landscape how would you feel?

Don't forget to use your emotions when describing pictures. Also consider other senses. What do you think it might smell like? Do you think it is hot or cold?

Sometimes there may be guesswork involved. It is fine to comment using words like 'Perhaps it is getting colder now. It may be sunset'.

I will give you more tips in our lessons.
