Last week I competed in a local chess friendly competition. It was a fun event but there only a few players have participated.
The games were intense and I did my best in every match. Although, even when I gave it my all, most of the participants were better than me.
I am aiming to be better and refine my current chell skills because I know I could have done more. I was inspired by the other participants who were very careful and tactical in each of their play. It is not a shame for me to admit that I sometimes moved a piece without thinking, that's because it has been a while since I played competitive. But enough of my excuses, I am going to hone my current skills and reach the peak of my abilities.
In conclusion, I am going to do my best next time and prepare accordingly. I am competitive you see, and competition is fun for me.
