Hi everyone! ?? I’m Lauren, and I teach fun and practical English lessons for kids and young learners here on Cafetalk. Whether you're 4 or 14, improving your English doesn't have to be boring. In fact, it should be exciting!
Here are 3 simple ways you can boost your English this week at home:
1️⃣ ?? Label Your World
Put little sticky notes on everyday objects at home: fridge, door, window, bed, spoon. Say the words out loud each time you see them. You’ll be surprised how fast your vocabulary grows!
2️⃣ ?? Sing It Out!
Choose one English kids’ song (like “Days of the Week” or “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes”) and sing along every day this week. Songs help with memory, rhythm, and pronunciation.
3️⃣ ?? Play “English Challenge”
Each day, pick one small challenge:
– Say five new words
– Ask “How are you?” to a family member
– Describe your breakfast in English
– Count to 20 (or 50!)
Make it a game and reward yourself with a gold star ?? or a happy dance ????!
