Here are two useful phrases from my  phrasebook, Speak Natural English: 50 Must-Know Phrases for Japanese Learners.

How’s it going?
調⼦はどう? カジュアルなあいさつで、友 達や親しい⼈に最近どうしているか軽く聞 く時に使う。
Example:
A: Hey, how’s it going?
やあ、元気?
B: Pretty good. You?
結構いいよ。君は

Hi there.
やあ!フレンドリーでカジュアルな「こん にちは」。知らない⼈やちょっとした知り 合いにも使える。 Example:
A: Hi there!
やあ!
B: Oh hey! Nice to see you.
あ、どうも!会えてうれしいよ。
